Cecilia Allen, PA-C

Cecilia Allen, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a passion for cardiovascular medicine and patient education. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care while helping patients better understand their heart health and treatment options.

Cecilia earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Texas before completing her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She became certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants in 2009 and began her cardiology career at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.

Since joining Lone Star Heart & Vascular in 2021, Cecilia has continued her commitment to caring for patients in the inpatient setting. She believes that education and communication are essential to successful outcomes and strives to ensure every patient feels informed, supported, and actively involved in their care.

Andrea Colburn, DNP, APRN, AGACNP-BC

Andrea Colburn, DNP, APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with nearly three decades of experience caring for patients with complex cardiovascular and critical care conditions. Her clinical background includes interventional cardiology, cardiovascular and vascular surgery, intensive care, and heart failure management.

Andrea earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and has dedicated her career to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care. She is passionate about building strong relationships with patients and their families while providing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.

In addition to her clinical practice, Andrea has served as a university faculty member and remains committed to advancing healthcare education and lifelong learning. She believes that patient education is a critical component of successful care and empowers patients to take an active role in managing their heart health. Outside of work, Andrea enjoys playing bass guitar, writing, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her family.

Whitney Felker, PA-C

Whitney Felker, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered cardiovascular care. She works closely with patients to help them understand their heart health and develop individualized treatment plans that support long-term wellness.

Whitney earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her patients and believes that education, communication, and collaboration are essential to achieving the best possible outcomes. Whitney strives to ensure every patient feels informed, supported, and confident throughout their healthcare journey. Outside of work, Whitney enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and participating in community activities.

Teegan Tree, PA-C

Teegan Tree, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. She is committed to helping patients navigate their healthcare needs while ensuring they feel informed, comfortable, and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Teegan earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth and is nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

She values building strong relationships with her patients and believes that open communication and patient education play an important role in achieving successful outcomes. Teegan takes pride in providing individualized care and helping patients better understand their health and treatment options. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, following college sports, visiting the beach, and enjoying the outdoors.

Terri Vrooman, DNP, APRN, AGACNP-BC

Terri Vrooman, DNP, APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered cardiovascular care. She combines advanced clinical expertise with a commitment to building meaningful relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.

Terri earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Michigan and brings years of diverse clinical experience to her role. Prior to joining Lone Star Heart & Vascular, she practiced in Hawaii, where she cared for underserved patient populations and developed a strong passion for improving access to quality healthcare.

She believes that patient education and collaboration are essential components of exceptional care and works closely with patients to help them achieve their health goals and improve their quality of life. Outside of work, Terri enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Lauren Wright, PA-C

Lauren Wright, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant and New Braunfels native who is dedicated to providing personalized, patient-centered cardiovascular care. She has a passion for treating a variety of cardiac conditions and a special interest in the diagnosis and management of venous disorders.

Lauren earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University before completing her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Her clinical expertise includes venous disease management and venous ablation therapy.

She is committed to helping patients understand their health conditions and treatment options so they can take an active role in their care. Lauren believes that strong patient-provider relationships are the foundation of successful outcomes and strives to provide compassionate, individualized care. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with family and friends, participating in church activities, and relaxing along the Comal River with a good cup of coffee.
